2020 Scholarship Winner

Tarynn Luttrull

We are proud to announce our 2020 Paul J. Brunelle Scholarship winner!

We are proud to announce that Tarynn Luttrull is our Paul Brunelle Scholarship Winner this year. We are excited to award her with this scholarship because of her leadership abilities in school and community activities. By choosing to major in Civil Engineering with a focus in Environmental and Water Resources, Tarynn aligns with our mission at Keep Rowlett Beautiful.

My goal for studying Civil Engineering with a focus in Environmental and Water Systems Engineering is to be able to improve our current systems and innovate future systems to be more sustainable. I want to work in countries, through volunteering with the humanitarian organization Engineers Without Borders and otherwise, that cause the most pollution and do the most harm to their landscape so that I may provide them with solutions to clean their energy and use of resources before it is too late. My motivation for entering this field of study is the outlet that it will provide for me to make the world better not only for my generation, but for generations to come.

Congratulations, Tarynn!

Paul J. Brunelle, a strong supporter of KRB, was the City of Rowlett’s first Arborist and was instrumental in the Rowlett’s being named a “Tree City USA.”
