Rich Arthur joined the Keep Rowlett Beautiful Board since June of 2019. He has a passion for protecting the environment, particularly as it pertains to recycling. He grew up in West Haven, Connecticut, 3 houses up from the beach. His degree is in education and Rich taught in all grades from K-12.
After leaving teaching, he began a retail career that would see him advance to Director of Training with 2 companies in Florida, moving to Texas and then finally retiring after opening a nursery in Rowlett and 19 years with Home Depot, the last 7 as the Store Manager in Rowlett. Rich and the Home Depot were a great help following the 2015 Rowlett tornado that caused so much destruction.
