Adopt-a-Road

Designed to encourage businesses, government agencies, school groups, Scouts, church groups, and non-profit groups, as well as individuals, to join together to contribute the effort of maintaining litter-free roadways in Rowlett. 

Community Service hours

Led by the spirit of the individual, education requirements, or a way to get some quality outdoor exercise, Community Service brings the opportunity for individuals to help make a difference in their hometown with litter abatement and more. KRB can help you with locations and needs. There are other volunteer opportunities as well.

Environmental Education Scholarships

Keep Rowlett Beautiful offers college scholarships for tuition and books to students who share the KRB mission to protect the environment.

In-school Environmental Education

Prepare our children for a better future by providing a better understanding of the environment around them. Schedule a presentation by one of our knowledgeable speakers.

City of Rowlett Calendar

Look for Keep Rowlett Beautiful at City events. Visit with our Board members and learn more about KRB. And, bring the kids!

Smart Yard award

The City of Rowlett and Keep Rowlett Beautiful recognizes Rowlett residents whose yards are in harmony with the Texas native flora, soil, and topography.  These smart practices help residents save on electricity, water, and sewer costs, as well as, support our local ecosystems. 

Property of the Season

The Property of the Season will feature a recipient in each quadrant of the City, which is chosen by the Code Enforcement Officer servicing that area. The City of Rowlett and Keep Rowlett Beautiful recognizes Rowlett residents whose yards go “Above and Beyond” in their efforts to maintain their property. We appreciate the efforts demonstrated by so many Rowlett residents to create and maintain such impressive green spaces!
