Maya Scott Bio

I have been a citizen of Rowlett since 2006 after relocating from California. I graduated from Rowlett High School in 2014 where I was a member of the Silver Rhythm Dancers. I later received a B.S. in Biology from Sam Houston State University in 2018, and I am currently taking steps toward becoming a dentist. I vividly remember realizing for the first time in my Zoology course what state our climate was truly in.

Since then, I have been an advocate for decreasing the effects of climate change and keeping not only our community beautiful but the planet as well. This is what brought me to Keep Rowlett Beautiful. My goal is to uplift and educate our community in ways that will show through the ecological beauty and cleanliness of our city.
